Bottle of Wine--fruit of the vine

My friend, Michelle, is a wine drinker.  When we talk via Skype, she always sits back and sips from her wine glass and seems so calm.   Last night, I thought I would join her for a toast and glass of wine.  I have apparently never learned to sip....when the bottle was empty, she was just finishing her first glass.   When will I ever learn moderation?? Perhaps if I am ever calm.
